The Redgrave Theatre is uniquely defined as Bristol's first purpose-built school theatre, opened in 1966 as Clifton College Theatre and later named in honor of an ex-student, actor Sir Michael Redgrave. It maintains its dual identity today, serving both the local community with amateur productions and a variety of touring professional shows, embodying a rich history of education, local arts, and professional performance within a compact 318-seat venue.
